Bicycle the Festival of lights at Chehaw Park
Come out and enjoy the festival of lights from a new vantage point. pull out those bikes and bring your family, Chehaw Park is opening a day early for BICYCLES only.
Thursday, December 4th, 2014 open from 6-9pm
Fee $7 per person or $25 for a family. Includes entrance to the lights and an optional 2 mile wooded bicycle trail ride, Bon fire with marshmallow roast and either a hotdog or hamburger plate served with chips and a drink. Park your car, unload the bikes and enjoy a glorious pedal through the lights at your leisure. White handlebar headlight and red light are recommended. Appropriate for children of all ages.

If you are searching for a safe, family-oriented BMX racing track, you can find it at Chehaw. Chehaw Bmx Parant Accociation and the USA BMX worked together to build this racing site for bicycle enthusiast. This USA BMX track is location inside Chehaw, which is the home to over 700 acres of pristine, conservation land and a wild animal park dedicated to education, Chehaw is a unique attraction for South Georgia. Being one of the only two accredited zoos in Georgia, aside from Zoo Atlanta. The public can ride anytime with a bike and helmet. If you have a USABMX membership, you can participate in sanctioned races.
Chehaw BMX is a family fun sport, located in Albany, GA, where racers are orgainized according to age group and skill levels, so everyone gets the opportunity to compete on a fair level. BMX offers every rider the ability to participate at his or her own pace...NO ONE SITS ON THE BENCH! There are no coaches deciding who gets to play everyone get into the action. All riders go home at the end of the race with a trophy
